MATh.en.JEANS (MeJ) is a French method being developed in Europe, which aims at bringing mathematics to life for young people according to the principles of mathematical research. It allows young people to experience a genuine scientific approach. The MeJ association promotes and coordinates research workshops in schools, which reconstruct the life of a mathematics laboratory in a reduced-scale model. At the end of the school year, students present their work at a conference and are invited to write an article.
